Writers/Researchers Needed

By Helen Brody (May 26, 2010)

The New Hampshire Farms Network is an all volunteer operation spotlighting only New Hampshire working farms. As the site has grown, one person visiting the farms, writing the profiles, getting the photos, along with the other site requirement is proving impossible.

We are  in search of writers and  researchers looking for exposure and interested in covering the farms in their region.  Background in agriculture is unnecessary.  Appreciation of New Hampshire farms, the work of farmers, and the healthy local food they produce is.  Check out the profiles currently up on www.newhampshirefarms.net for examples.  Credit will be given at the end of each article with a 15-25 word bio as “compensation.”

For site consistency, a summary of what should be included in a farm profile is available. Again for consistency, the  editor must approve the farm to be covered and retain the right to edit. If you or anyone you know would like to participate, please use the “contact us”  link on the top line of www.newhampshirefarms.net opening page  or call 603-252-5299.
