2009 – A Great Maple Syrup Year
Submitted by Helen Brody on June 25, 2009
New Hampshire had an excellent maple season overall, producing 94,000 gallons of syrup, nearly matching last year’s yield of 95,000. New Hampshire production for this year and last represents the best two-year combined total in 25 years. The Granite State’s rank among maple-producing states rose to sixth in the nation in 2009.
